The legal battle between Samsung and Apple continues to grow, as Apple has filed a new lawsuit against Samsung accusing the company of violating patents related to tablet and smartphone case designs.

Though the International Trade Commission has placed an injunction against HTC Android phones that infringe on Apple’s intellectual property, the ruling is not expected to have a major effect on either HTC or Apple.

Apple is said to have finalized its acquisition of flash memory maker Anobit, with the final price coming in between $ 400 million and $ 500 million.
