The 120 players, coaches and other staff of the National Football League’s Denver Broncos will each be equipped with Apple’s iPad to use as a digital playbook for the 2012 season.

A recent downturn in Apple’s stock has been dismissed as simply “profit taking” ahead of this week’s earnings report, in which Apple is expected to exceed Wall Street expectations.

Though updates for the 13- and 15-inch models are on the horizon, Apple may not continue making its 17-inch MacBook Pro, according to one analyst.
