PC maker HP is said to still be considering the sale of its webOS mobile operating system, though any deal is expected to be less than the $ 1.2 billion it originally paid to acquire the platform from Palm.

Apple has updated its official Apple Store application for iOS, adding the new “Personal Pickup” option, as well as an “Easy Pay” feature, which allows customers to pay for an item on their own, direct from an iPhone, while in a retail store.

Consumer Reports on Tuesday announced it is recommending the iPhone 4S to customers, stating that Apple’s latest handset “doesn’t suffer the reception problem we found in its predecessor.”
